To all of our amazing clients:
We are very much looking forward to seeing you again, now that we are gradually reopening Salon NESOU.
We’ve been working very hard to ensure that your salon visit will be as safe and pleasant as possible.
In anticipation of your next appointment, we wanted to outline some of the key precautions that we have taken at the salon for your health and safety.
Below you’ll find the changes you can expect to see when you arrive at the salon, followed by steps we are asking all clients to take for their appointments.
All stylists will be assigned to stations that will be spaced at least six feet apart. The shampoo bowls will also be spaced six feet apart.
All stylists have taken the Barbicide and the Milady Infection Control certification courses to ensure proper sanitation of all tools and workspaces.
Everyone entering the salon will be required to wear a face mask.
Stylists will take their own temperature at the start of the work day. If they have a fever, they must go home.
The salon will be cleaned and sanitized each day and heavily touched surfaces will be wiped down throughout the day.
Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the salon and on your stylist’s station.
We are minimizing the amount of clients in the salon. Stylists will only see one client at a time.
We will not be offering blowdrys at this time for the safety of our clients.
All magazines and coffee cups have been removed to help stop the spread of the virus.
All stylists will clean their station before and after each client, including the shampoo bowl.
Here are a few friendly reminders about the new procedures and protocols to help you prepare for your appointment.
Please review them before arriving, and feel free to contact your stylist if you have any questions.
Please bring as little as possible with you to your appointment — no large tote bags, backpacks, heavy jackets/coats, etc.
Face covering/mask with ear loops will be required at all times inside the salon. Please be sure to wear a mask that you don’t mind getting color on.
If you are scheduled for only a haircut service, please arrive with freshly washed and dried hair.
Please wait outside of the salon or in your car and text your stylist when you arrive.
They will text/call you back to let you know when they am ready for you to enter the salon.
(This is because the stylist will be disinfecting their entire station in between each and every client.)
Upon entering the salon, your temperature will be checked at the front door with a touchless thermometer.
If it reads higher than 100°F, we will need to reschedule your appointment.
You will be asked to fill out an intake form with questions regarding COVID-19-related symptoms and if any of the questions have a positive answer,
your appointment will need to be rescheduled at least 14 days later.
You will be asked to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer once your temperature has been taken and you’ve filled out the intake form.
After changing, please do not leave any articles of clothing inside the dressing room. Please bring all of your belongings with you to your stylist's station.
Due to safety concerns, the salon is not allowing any blowdry services at this time. Please be aware that you may be leaving the salon with wet hair.
The shampoo area is a QUIET ZONE and no talking will be permitted.
To meet the six-foot social distancing requirement, only two shampoo bowls can be used at one time,
therefore head massages will be extremely limited or possibly non-existent in order to prevent a backlog of other stylists/clients.
We are asking clients to come in with freshly cleaned hair, this will help minimize the use of the shampoo bowls.
As new information about COVID 19 is discovered, these policies and clients expectations may continue to change.
We will be as diligent as possible in keeping this website updated with the latest information.
We thank you very much for your support and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and healthy environment for you and our team.
